L'Ardoise Prayer and Faith Sharing Group Glebe House Tuesdays following Mass. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy and The Sorrowful Mysteries Rosary are recited at 3pm, every Friday in Holy Guardian Angels Church , L'Ardoise. (entrance side door). Prayer Cards: Next week, on the 1st Sunday of Advent, we shall distribute to each family a set of three Evena Prayer Cards, provided to us by CHALICE. An Evena means praying the simple prayer inside the card, three times over three days, for a friend, family member, or a colleague. Each week upon lighting the Advent wreath candle, we'll pray this prayer together. (Please bring the prayer with you each week) The next step in the Evena is for you to pray this prayer at home twice more during the week, address and stamp the envelope, and bring them back to church where on the 4th Sunday of Advent, they'll be blessed and mailed out. Consider, in this Year of Faith, the impact of sending these cards to those struggling with health, family, or financial problems. We show we care through prayer. Tree Lightening 6:30pm(outside) Strait Richmond Hospital Thursday, Nov. 29/12 Next Sunday is the first Sunday of Advent. There will be a Jessie Tree for anyone wishing to donate. There will also be a tree at the Post Office in L'Ardoise for anyone who wishes to make a donation there. On Friday, Nov. 30, at 6:30 pm at the L'Ardoise Community Centre, the children are invited to make an Advent wreath for their family.
