John 16:12-15: As Jesus is about to leave his disciples he reminds them–and us- that the Holy Spirit will always guide the people of God to the truth. Today's feast celebrates one of the greatest truths of our faith: God is Trinity, three Persons in one God.

The Mystery of the Holy Trinity: On May 26, this Sunday, we celebrate Trinity Sunday. As Catholics we believe that there are three persons in one God: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. St. Patrick used a Shamrock with three leaves attached to one stem to describe the Trinity. Others have used the image of a triangle with three corners in one figure/ an egg yolk, an egg white and a shell are three parts of a single egg/water can be in the form of ice, liquid or steam.

Join the Worldwide Eucharistic Adoration on Sunday, June 2 by becoming an eVena Pilgrim The eVena Pilgrimage for the Poor will take place throughout Nova Scotia on the Feast of Corpus Christi. Pilgrims will visit as many parishes as they can , praying and sending prayer cards to loved ones and giving alms to support a scholarship fund for students in Bolivia. Pilgrim kits cost $10. KOC Bursaries: The Father Vincent de Paul Council will be offering two bursaries of two hundred dollars($200.00)each to students graduating from High School this year. Students must be registered in a post secondary institution and a member of one of the following four Parishes of East Richmond(Holy Guardian Angels, Immaculate Conception,St. John the Baptist or St. Peter's) Information and forms are on website www.eastrichmondcatholic.com.

East Richmond Education Centre presents Treasure Island on Thursday, May 30 at 6PM. A cast of 25 students from grades 3-8 as well as a chorus of 125 students from grades primary -4 will perform. Tickets are on sale for $5.00 and can be purchased at E.R.E.C. office.

Merchandise Bingo Sunday, June 2/13 at 2pm at L'Ardoise Community Centre spons'd by L'Ardoise Adult Recreation Club with proceeds going towards the Ball field. Thank you.

Music Camp Artisans Show and Sale: Sunday June 2, Bonnie Brae Seniors' Center, 8:30-to 12noon. Come and meet the Artisans and see their crafts,Quilts, Soap,Candles, Paintings etc.

Annual Meeting of Holy Guardian Angels Parish will be held on Monday, June 03, 6:30P.M. at the Center. Everyone welcome.

The family of the late Mary (Gracie) Lawrence wish to express sincere thanks and appreciation for the love and support shown to them during her sickness and death. Thanks to all who visited, made donations, offered Masses, brought food and supported us during this difficult time. Thanks to Father Mariadoss and the people who helped during the funeral Mass, as well as the Legion Branch 110. To the people who brought food and prepared the reception at the Centre, we thank you and appreciate it very much.
