Luke 23:1-49: Today is called both Palm Sunday and Passion Sunday. As we receive palms, we hear the Gospel story of Jesus' last days, his passion and death, during which he consoles the “good criminal” and forgives those responsible for his death. Holy Guardian Angels

Palm Sunday (Today) Procession: people who are willing and able may gather at the Funeral Home to participate in a procession from there to the Church. At the Funeral Home, Father Mariadoss will bless the palm which will then be distributed to the people. The people, holding their palm, will follow the candle bearers into the church where we shall all process around the church, two by two, and then return to our seats. We invite your participation. Cleaning of Church for Easter, Monday, Mar.25, 9:30am. We need many hands please. Holy Week Mass of Chrism (Bishop blesses oils for each Parish in the Diocese) will be held on Monday, March 25, at 4pm in St. Ninian's Cathedral in Antigonish. All are welcome. Holy Thursday-Mass 7PM – Oils Chrism presented at Mass – Celebration of Last Supper and the washing of feet. Public Adoration (8-9) Silent Adoration (9-12) Good Friday – Continuation of Adoration - Stations of the Cross (2pm) – Novena to Divine Mercy immediately following Stations of the Cross – Good Friday Services 3pm Holy Saturday Mass 9pm - Light, Water & Word Easter Sunday – Christ is Risen The Novena for Divine Mercy is from Good Friday to Mercy Sunday April 6. It is a 9 day Novena and will be held at 3pm each day (The Novena prayer and the Chaplet will be said) Seafood & Corn Chowder Meal on Good Friday immediately following Good Friday Services at the L'Ardoise community Centre $6. per person Grand River Fireman's Breakfast will be held on Saturday March 30 from 7-11AM at the Grand River Fire Hall. $7. for adults, $4. for children under 12. Sponsored by the Grand River Volunteer Fire Dept. Benefit for Richard Martell(27 year old son of Darrell & Darlene Martell) on March 30 from 2-7 @ The L'Ardoise Community Centre. Richard requires 2 major Hip surgeries which will take up to 12 months. Hip Braces and extensive therapy is required. Richard's family & friends are hosting a day of local entertainment, Auction, Bake sale, Cold plates $5.ea (take out available) & ticket sales.
