L'Ardoise Prayer and Faith Sharing Group - Glebe House following Mass on Tuesday.
Holy Hour every Friday following Mass.

A Note from the Pastor: Summer has officially started and our thoughts turn to beaches, barbecues, cottages, family and friends and summer vacations. Although the pace is usually slower during this time of year, the Parish’s still continues to provide spiritual care and support for our parishioners Our Mass schedule will remain the same (although we may have some minor changes while Fr Mariadoss is away in July) Please check our website for changes. www.eastrichmondcatholic.com . Steubenville Atlantic will take place in Antigonish August 2-4 , And we keep these young people in our prayers.
Parish Finances: Please remember that Parish expenses continue, even in the summer, so if you will be away, please consider leaving postdated checks or your envelopes with others so that the support, on which we depend, and of which you have been so generous may continue.
On behalf of myself (Fr. Dennis) and Fr. Mariadoss, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who serve our Church through the various ministries, and committees. While there are great challenges, there is also great faith, commitment and service. We thank you all, and wish you a restful, peaceful and safe summer.
Fr. Dennis Lamey, Fr. Mariadoss Lourdusamy

Re: Pastoral Planning Committee - Richmond Deanery June 22, 2013
The first meeting took place on June 10, 2013, with representatives from the various parishes. Fr. Don Macgillivary, Diocesan Planning, Charied the meeeting. Father took us through the process followed in the Cape Breton Deanery in regards to Pastoral Planning for our Diocese. All agreed that we should follow the
same process here. Therefore the members will gather information over the summer and present this information at our next meeting scheduled for September. This information will be analysed and other information on other issues will be discussed. This will be followed by the committeeputting togeather a proposal which will be presentedto all parishes for comments, discusions, suggestions and recommendations. These will be further discussed by the commettee, followed in the Spring by a plan being developed and presented to Bishop Dunn. Information gathering this summer will concentrate on: --the demographics-youth,adults,seniors etc. --church attendance vs capacity – distance between parishes-- parish finances over the last two years. I urge you to share with me your thoughts and ideas so that I can present them atthe committee table. Rene 902 587 2426 or renesamson@hotmail.com
