Luke 1:57-66,80: Zechariah and Elizabeth were older, and didn't have any children. The angel Gabriel appeared to Zechariah to tell him Elizabeth would have a son and that they would name him John. L'Ardoise Prayer and Faith Sharing Group Glebe House Tuesdays following Mass. Holy Hour in Holy Guardian Angels Church on Fridays 9:30-10:30 . All are Welcome The annual outdoor Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine, Johnstown, Richmond Co., will be held on Sunday, July 8th. Time 2PM. The shrine is behind Sacred Heart Church, Johnstown. Please bring your own chair. A Strawberry Festival will also be held at the Johnstown Parish Hall from 2pm-5PM, on Sunday July 8th. Rebuilding My People the Church As we continue to move forward with the five year plan for our diocese, a friendly gathering is planned for all Catholics within the Richmond Deanery who find it difficult to attend Sunday Eucharist. This gathering will be held on Sunday, June 24th at the Louisdale Lions den (just past the arena) at 7:00pm. Your voice, comments and ideas are very important to the formation of this plan, our mandate is to listen. Please pass on. The keynote speaker at this conference will be Bishop Brian Dunn. Fr. Patrick O'Neill from the Diocese of Antigonish and Father James Mallon from the Archdiocese of Halifax will also be presenters. St, Peter's Learning and Technology Centre The L'Ardoise Men's Club has an opening for a summer student to perform Property and Grounds Maintenance work associated with L'Ardoise Parish Properties. The successful candidate will also be involved with activities related to the L'Ardoise Acadian Festival. Interested individuals must be entered in a post secondary institution or entering this fall.
