As children of God we are gifted to give and blessed to be a blessing to our community.
In our parish there are many talented people. Every single parishioner has gifts and talents and is called to serve God with them. No one is excluded because no one should be excluded from experiencing the joy of serving others. There are many different categories and ways in which you can serve in a wide range of abilities and skills. If everyone serves according to their gifts, then we are serving Christ himself when we serve others.

Acadian Day Festival – Acadian Day Festival is only one month away and because it is our 50th year, we are hoping for a larger crowd. Meals are an important part of our festival and as such require a great deal of work and preparation. Please consider giving some of your time to helping out with this work. Please call if you can help with any aspect of the meals.
Something old – Something new - Some of you will remember when, in the earlier years of our festival, there was a custom of having decorated cakes on (each) individual tables. After the meal, they would be sold. We are going to try to revive that custom for this year. Think about it, and if you are interested let us know. The cakes will be auctioned off on Sunday afternoon. Call Sally Anne @ 587-2171/Hall -587 - 2011

We need help in the dining room with the serving of meals. Call Maureen -587-2517 or Elaine at 587-2458
