While he was there, alone in prayer, he was tempted three times by the devil: with promises of comfort(bread), authority and power, and false glory(daring to test God). (Matthew5:43-48) World Day of Prayer: Sunday, March 3@2pm in the St. Peters Fire Hall. The theme is “I was a stranger and you welcomed me” This year's service is written by the women of France and hosted by St Peter's Christian Church. All local churches are involved and everyone is welcome. Share Lent- Development & Peace: This year's campaign slogan is HUMAN DIGNITY-MOER THAN EVER, celebrates the inherent dignity of all human beings. It invites us to take an active role in this collective effort to raise awareness and support for our brothers & sisters in the Global South.
