The family of the late Doug Horton would like to thank family, friends and neighbors for being there when they were needed the most. Doug was loved a lot, that was most evident by the overwhelming support of people at the wake and funeral. To the friends who heard of Doug's passing on the radio, and came to support us in a moment's notice, thank you. To all who visited at the hospital and at home and the many phone calls of encouragement.
To all who gave Mass cards, memorial donations, flowers, food for home and the funeral parlor. To the ladies of the community who organized and prepared the food for the reception after the service. Words of comfort(Guest Book) were greatly appreciated, as were the hymns from the choir.
Thank you to the pall bearers and the Honorary Pall Bearers(NSPC). To the readers Linda & Ashley and John and Carol for taking donations. Our hearts swelled when Doug's Harley and Toronto Maple Leaf buddies honored him in their special way. I know whenever I hear the rumble of a Harley good memories will come back. Thank you to Rev. Lynn MacKinnon and Fr. Mariadoss Lourdusamy for officiating. Sincerely Cecillia, Jason,Francine, Anne,Palmer and glen Horton
